Re: Cross-play?

Ok thank you! I hope someone can tell if cross-platform will really be implemented in the future.

Crossplay between consoles would work, but with PC it would be too unfair.

If many games have Cross-Play, why can't this game, you know what I mean? I know Pop Cap mentioned it would be an investment of sorts, but many people would be delighted to play it and more obliged (especially people who have friends who also play BFN on different platforms).

Those in charge probably don’t want to risk assets on a game that’s struggling.

There’s a big difference in PC and console, too, for things as tedious as aim and graphics, etc.  

I want this worse than anyone but believe it’s seen as a liability; not worth the investment.

That's true, if it could be costly for the developers to do so, it may not be worthwhile for the team to implement it!🤔 It could be added in the future at some point I suppose!

@TheSprinter85  It’s a shame because they don’t realize the investment might be the saving grace of funds already in BfN. 🙁

@spIash_damage  There is definitely a lot of potential and possibilities with this game, if they can use the investment wisely and where it's needed most, BFN can improve so much it's not even funny! At the moment, the game is very good, but has loads of potential! Such as adding new characters, like🧙 zombie!

@TheSprinter85  couldn't agree more. 

I remember walking into a canyon in BfN and being taken aback in a way I cannot remember since original Zelda.

They're (developers) on the precipice of having created something truly special.

I played in console lobbies that had keyboard/mouse active before.  LOVED the higher population of skilled fraggers.

@TheSprinter85Maybe I'm the only PC player using the gamepad. I know what it feels to play amongst mouse and keyboard users. So my idea wasn't supposed to be that serious. 🙂

@Gormey XBOX gamepad as well. Feels much more comfortable imho.

Cross-play would benefit PC players most, because they have the most trouble finding a lobby! 

Cross-play would be really good in BfN, because some players play on different platforms and can't play with friends or acquaintances, but cross-play would fix that entirely, and would provide a lot of potential! Not to mention many people including myself want it!

Hopefully cross-play will appear in the future at some point! 🤞

I think you are very wrong here. I personally know 6 people (part of my pfriends) who wanted this game but did not buy cause it does not support crossplay. We only buy games that do support it now. I was the first to buy it and tried to talk others into it, but I play on Xbox, same as 1 of my friend, 3 of the others play on PS4. And rest on PC. So now i am stuck playig with only 1 of my friends. This is silly and seems to be a very common problem.
Crossplay = big revenue.
It would not even have to have full support. They could make it PVE only or PVP optional. Any form of crossplay support would be welcome.
