Maybe stupid question, but what does Tier mean??

No, it's not a stupid question at all. A "tier" is like a grading system, or a rung on a ladder... The higher something is on the ladder, the better the character is said to be. When constructing this tier list I had literally mastered all 120 characters in the game and then based each of the 120 characters level of overall efficiency (or "tier") on having the ability to utilize all of their 8 upgrades. At the bottom of the tier list on my site is an accurate listing of every character in the game.

Also worth noting is the fact that I took the Playstation 4 World Record and #1 Rank (shortly after GW2 launched), and I am an expert in third person shooters. After the record break, I started to go through and master every character in the game, but THROUGH MULTIPLAYER ONLY. So this is basically a world class tier list, and a very accurate one since all characters level of efficiency was measured through multuplayer, in a very sophisticated way.

The "tier" system operates from the lowest to the highest. F is the lowest, and scaling up from F would be D, C, B, A, then S (Standing for "Super Tier") Breaking down the tier system even further I have characters that I would list as (this is an example) something like A Minus Tier, A Tier (Middle of A Range), and A Plus Tier.
