Navel Laser really needs some help.
Navel Laser is a deficient ability. Using it in Ops is great as it can take out hordes of AI zombies quickly. Using it in PvP is high risk, not-so-high reward. Citron doesn't move very fast while using it whereas players can. This ability relies on accuracy so bunny hoppers make this problem worse.There is no way of cancelling it either. Combine that all with the fact that Citron has the 2nd largest hitbox on the Plant side. There is a lot of risk if you choose to use it (Too much risk in my opinion). The reward is very little as players will probably only get a vanquish or 2 before the duration ends or they themselves are vanquished. There are upgrades like Pulp Powered and Juiced that allow the reward to be much greater but they can't even compensate for the almost guaranteed chances of dying when using it because they don't remove any risk at all ( Juiced removes very little risk as players are easier to hit). To balance out risk and reward when using Navel Laser
- Allow players to cancel Navel Laser - Some players may become overwhelmed by players so retreating would be the safest option. Because you become vulnerable for 6 seconds with low movement speed, you are very likely to be vanquished. Cancelling it allows players to retreat safely.
- Allow Citron to move faster and jump - He's very slow and very large so you are a very easy target. Allowing him to move more gives him more survivability.
- Tiny damage buff - I know that combining more damage with Juiced and Pulp Powered would make it a little too offensive but the reward is too low at the moment. Citron doesn't get that many vanquishes with it as most players jump around or run away when they see/hear Navel Laser being activated.
