Superhero Expansion idea
Having four MaxisMansions kind of doesn't make sense. I'd love for EA to expand on the characters in Sim City Build it. Why not make a mansion for a different superhero based on each neighborhood population. Create a superhero based on the paris, london, tokyo and omega neighborhood. Each with its unique mansion graphic. They all do the same thing and cost the same except for the omega neighborhood. Omega would only be for omega and cost omega money. In addition to each unique mansion would be a unique statue.
In addition to each mansion selling Vu items there can be a new item that is unique to each superhero. The big M for example for maxis. The mansions collect their unique item that was purchased at a mansion until 10 are collected. At that point the superhero will be activated when the next disaster is launched at the vu tower. Before the disaster can do itss mayhem we see the superhero that was activated fly out of his mansion in his/her flying machine. They would fly to their statue. Low and behold the statue isn't just a statue. It's a giant robot! Our superhero saves the day. The mayor having instead of each building destroyed by the disaster its has if it was raised normally has if the mayor used items to raise it. All keys being automatically collected without the mayor having to use any kind of resource.
Now you have six characters that can be marketed. Maybe have small real life figurines produced and released on launch of this expansion. Availible for sale only on the build it website. Also to celebrate on the month of the release you can maybe have one random figurine has an additional prize in the top CoM. Each winner would be given a keycode to be used on the website to claim their free figurine. Heck you could even have the figures for sale in sim cash.
Anyway, lots of opportunity for some neat graphics to make these characters pop. If the graphics is too much of a memory hog for the main game download then start creating downloads only when content is reached and unlocked by the user.
