Re: This week's event (Rando Ops)
@Iron_Guard8 I really like this event as it is something many people play. It's unique as you get to level-up different characters. I've said this before when this event has been out previously, but I find that weekly challenges for this event are very easy to do, even the second one where you can't get vanquished. This weekly event is also very unique because you don't have to find other players to start a match. Many people play Ops anyway, so it's not much different than that. I didn't realise that the game uses your "Character 1" build in Rando Ops, so that's very handy to know.
My tips on the weekly challenges are as follows:
1. Complete a Game of Rando Ops. This does mean you have to win. Place bots and pots to help you and your team out. Assist your team. If you join a match, you may be placed in near the end of that game and if your team wins, than you get this weekly challenge.
2. Complete a Game of Rando Ops without Being Vanquished. This one means you should be careful of your health. You want to make sure that your health isn't dropping. If your health gets low, sprint away or use mobility abilities to do so. Save it for then. Also, placing a Heal Pot or Dr. Heals somewhere at the back can help you heal. I know Dr. Heals doesn't do a whole lot, but it still heals at the end of the day. Hopefully your teammates can provide cover fire at this point and you can also use ranged attacks when you're low so that you can keep helping your team. If you join a match, you may be placed later in the match, so you will get this challenge faster if you succeed. Before you go into a lobby, you could customise you "Character 1" build for each plant and zombie and put healing or speed upgrades on, such as Fearless, Low Life, Vampiric, Health Regeneration, Health Regeneration Delay, Hard Target, Adrenaline Rush and so on, to improve your chances of survival, no matter what character you're playing!
3. Complete 5 Games of Rando Ops. The same as the first challenge, but worth 40 rainbow stars and takes longer, so I'll just copy the first challenge tips I've got into here. This will most obviously take longer though. This does mean you have to win. Place bots and pots to help you and your team out. Assist your team. If you join a match, you may be placed in near the end of that game and if your team wins, than you make progress towards this weekly challenge.
Overall, I love this weekly event! 😃
