Re: [PC] Settings/Key Bindings not saving

This is how I fixed it and hopefully it fixes yours(BTW make sure your Battlefront is off while doing this). So basically you go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront\settings, then delete the folders. Don't worry about losing them then when you start up your battlefront it should restore the files and save your settings.

  • Thanks for the reply, but what if you don't have any folders that seem to hint to anything Star Wars, Lucarts or EA in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Documents\"? Any ideas? And yes, I ticked the box to show hidden files & folders 🙂

You need to change YOURUSERNAME to your actual username. Also, if there's no Battlefront settings folder you might want to run Origin and Battlefront as administrator.

  • Yeah, I knew that about the username. Gonna try the administrator thing, though. Thanks.

similar but different issue - link to forum post here - http://starwars.ea.com/starwars/battlefront/forums/discussion/14715/ujhk-key-bindings%23latest

the movement keys essentially cannot be remapped without interfering with the chat keys. the problem is that the global chat keys are not remapped, only chat keys during gameplay. after every death/respawn i am having to press escape to exit out of the chat box that was inadvertently opened.

would really love to have someone acknowledge this and offer solutions or advice.
