I have no doubt that you don't mean harm, and that your intention is to help, but we can't promote 3rd party programs like this as a workaround, as we can't guarantee their security. 

Fortunately in the meantime new steps have been added that should help people with dual cores/hyperthread issues here: https://help.ea.com/en/article/troubleshoot-a-black-startup-screen-in-star-wars-battlefront/

They should help to resolve the issue without resorting to downloading unverified files.
