Re: Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order - M & K Control Customization Extremely Limited
Wow..while I agree with most of the discussions on this thread, BUT it was PAINFUL. It has nothing to do with being young or old. I'm over 50 and learned long ago that if you want to communicate something successfully, do it as succinctly as possible. Issuing a lot of policies at work I've learned you can create more confusion by bloating a message. You lose people adding a bunch of 'stuff' around the purpose of the post. To each his or her own, but just saying. I also wish I had that kinda time! LOL.
So yes, I agree. Even from the start where it tries to push PC users to a controller...is BAD NEWS and set a bad tone from the start. If fact, if you watch Worth A Buy's review on youtube, I agree that I think this game is limited as it appears to be built with consoles as the main focus. Right from the beginning I'm using all my stims up in the heat of battle hitting that key as it's too close the first force power. Luckily the game allowed me to remap healing easily and to a side mouse button some games written for PC won't recognize. Issue solved. Didn't see it as a big deal.
So posting my own experience, yes I think someone who doesn't play a lot of PC games setup the controls for the PC version, but luckily, for me, it let me easily change things to more a logical layout.
