Infections like that would not cause freezes like this.
There have been similar issues reported with SLI configurations, so it stands to reason that maybe there's a conflict somewhere between Nvidia and Battlefront.
Again, this is the ONLY game that suffers issues like this, and indeed it isn't the only online game I play either.
And if you reinstall your vga drivers clicking in "clean install" (when previous drivers are uninstalled and deleted, and new ones are installed)? You will not see this option on express installation!
Take a look at DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller), from guru3d, at http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

I've already done all that kind of stuff, as really all it really seems it can be is a driver and/or latest patch update conflict.

Since Battlefield 3 / 4, the new Frostbite-Engine reacts very, very sensitive to overclocking. Regardless of whether CPU or GPU! So if anybody have trouble with Battlefront, first try do downclock your graphic card to factory standards. (Even if this card is a buyed OC-Version) In most cases this will stop freezing your game, if nothings helps.
Alternative try this 3 Windows-commands in admin-command prompt:
sfc /scannow
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /RestorehealthThis will find and repair any issues in Windows.
I am dealing with the same exact thing--sudden problems after the Jakku update, single-player affected as well, it's only Battlefront that's buggy, etc.
It's definitely not a PC-tech issue; I have had no problems with Battlefront until Jakku, so something went wrong with this update.

Same here, since Jakku, I keep getting rubberbanding lags. It's really annoying.
R290x 4GB
16BG RAM
Win 10
i4790k
Tried different resolutions, DDU, everything and I've read many posts about this, I doubt it's a tech/hardware issue.
All the ports needed are forwarded everything on my end is perfect.
