This has happened to me as well. Still stuck, haven't been able to get myself out. This is a completely game breaking bug. Imagine it is going to happen to a lot of people that get to this part. 

Hey folks. Wanted to follow up as after about 30 mintues of running into the ice wall I was able to glitch back through. I used the dash attack on the right corner (as you're facing it once you're on the wrong side). I got progressively deeper into the wall and just kept at it and finally popped through. Good luck to those who have this issue.

man I’m stuck at the exact same location. Did you find a way to release the cable after you melt the ice from the door? I’ve been trying for 2 days now and rebooted probably 50 times but no luck, I keep getting the same bug over and over. My character is still attached to the cable.
