Re: Jaro Tapal fight won't end

It was 100% impossible to complete this scene with a mouse and keyboard. It can only be completed with a controller.

You do a split saber attack, and then the screen tells you to "shake" the mouse up and down.

It doesn't work, he kicks you, and you repeat over and over and over.

I solved this by finding a controller, plugging it into my PC, and using the "B" button, which got me past the scene first try.

This is a bug that needs to be fixed for PC users who only have a keyboard and mouse.

Going to a "meditation spot" won't fix it.

It's a fatal bug and should have been caught before this game was launched. Did no one in QA play through using a keyboard and mouse before they signed off? Sad.

  • Even with a controller, I can't get past this scene. It is just and endless battle.

@nataliejcaseAgain I suggest. When you lock sabers with Jaro Tapal instead of pressing the indicated button constantly, press it (repeatedly as fast as you can). This should work. It also applies in the last battle with Darth Vader.

I was stuck in this battle and very frustrated too because the question about Power would never come up for me to answer. I have an Xbox Series S with a controller and I finally got it to work by doing LB + X to split the light saber then clicking "B" like crazy. Then it popped up the icon telling me to click the Left button but it didn't have any text saying what it was.

I'm REALLY surprised this bug has survived this long.

    Good luck breaking out everyone!
