Re: Will Battlefront (2015) Work on my Mac?

@nan0b1t

Your GPU won't be good enough to run the game without any issues. You mentioned that you have Radeon HD 5670 (775 MHz, 1GB GDDR5) and in minimum requirements you can see Radeon HD 7850 (860 MHz, 2GB GDDR5), which out-performs your card.

And again, you're not going to use original Windows, so unfortunately we cannot give you any guarantee that the game will work. You might be able to launch it, but its performance might be poor.

    I found some beta videos that showed it running on graphics similar to mine. The quality was crummy but it DID run. Is there any way of knowing if I'd even be able to get far enough to adjust the graphics settings to minimum? I've seen an issue with lower spec computers where battlefront won't even boot up past the start menu. Is there a Demo of this game I could test my computer on?

    Unfortunately, there's no demo version of Star Wars Battlefront available in our Origin store ☹️

    However, you can get the full version of the game with Origin Access Basic membership, which is available for $0.99 per month at the moment - should give you enough time for testing. Disclaimer: Origin Access is available only on PC/Windows and since you're using Mac, it's possible that you might encounter some issues with it.
