This game is currently unplayable in Oceania (Australia, anyway). I have zero Internet issues at my residence and have the fastest and most stable connection possible for my area. Enemy ships are receiving no damage and players are not able to react to taking damage and are wiped out instantly. The amount of matches where I have loaded in and not been able to dish out any damage to opposing players (except when they are flying in straight lines or are disabled) is getting out of hand. Players in game chat are speaking different languages and it is clear that I am being deployed into European servers. This is unacceptable. It does not appear that this problem has been acknowledged as one of the "known issues".Please do something about this. I love this game and want nothing more than to play multiplayer on an even playing field with fellow players in my region. So many players in Australia are being driven away because of the poor matchmaking. Many of my friends have just given up, as shooting lasers that do no damage is clearly not fun. Please guys, do something about this. We want to keep this game alive in Australia. Thanks!

I have recently found out by pretty much playing the game there are no Oceania Servers in Squardons. Why is this? Why do Australians and New Zealanders have to deal with high ping on a competitive game? Is this a technical issue where we don't connect to them or are there none at all.
There were Oceania Servers for SWBF2 but there aren't for Squardons

Game is unplayable. Your matchmaking sucks, your server side hit detection is a joke. Can we get an official response because this game is dying hard in OCE because of the lack of communication. You just need to tell us if you're going to add a way for us to matchmake into OCE only games and not people on the other side of the god damn world.

I'm at 50 hours in this game and I just left and probably won't play again tonight because ALL of my games had this issue. I've posted in other threads about this, seen many posts and clips on reddit, and the only info about server management or potential fixes are "Our engineers are looking into it."

How was this not an obvious problem from the start? Server-based hit confirmation is DEATH to anyone not from the server region.

That's probably not a thing they can change, the hit-reg design is most likely baked into the code, but being able to select sever region should have been in from the start.

I want to love this game. I DO love this game when I connect to a close server.

We need to hear more.

+1 from me. Have best available internet in Melbourne, and invariably, will be placed into a game where I cannot hit anyone unless they are flying in a straight line and I am directly behind them. I played 3 games tonight, and it occurred in all 3 games.
I don't mind being placed into other servers to ensure that I can find a game, but when lag compensation/hit detection in this bad, it is honestly impossible to play.
I'm basically force to play as a Bomber and hope that I'm not throwing the team composition off, cause that's the only way I can contribute when I am placed into these matches

@Terrorbyt3_66 Couldn't agree more. I want to love this game too, I don't mind if a fix is a while away yet, at least let us know one is in the works.

@shanem016 Couldn't agree more. Impossible to hit anything right now. Tried again last night - had 1 AUS match which ran super smooth and hit detection was perfect, then four bad matches that were unplayable. One match where my team were speaking in German! Clearly chucked me into the European region!
