Re: error 327

@tonathor Hi, what system are you on and what region are you in? Do you stll get this issue now?

I was actually encountering this earlier when I tried to start a match on my home PS4, but hopefully it was just a temporary issue.

  • Well I'm on PC and I'm getting this issue non-stop. Tons of people are, and yet, nobody has helped us yet. In fact, this has been an issue for days.

    I play on ps4 , I'm from south Africa, cape town

    My internet connection is more than suitable
    But just before I got disconnected from the match an hour into gameplay , I had constant lag spikes short but limiting me to play , I then could not join a match without getting disconnected immediately

    So I'm worried that it's either my side or EA

    I have seen a few people comment and complain about this as well

    They say it might be because of the large amount of people playing that causes the EA severs to disconnected me nd them

    But I just would appreciate some clarity on This problem because I don't know if it is my system or EA

    From what I've gathered, the "default" server seems to switch to another. Someone from Brazil was complaining that the client made him join games on a North American server.

    Mine is set on "Germany" but am still experiencing horrible lag issues at random.

    Lots of players are getting this Error 327. I myself have a bug post for this. It is not temporary and is very frequent. I still had it several times on day 2. It has nothing to do with players' connections; its on EA side or a bug in the game code. I received the error message when I actually did not have any connection problem to EA servers, and had no problem joining the matches. But I read that some players were unable to join matches after receiving this message. Please read the forums regarding this subject.

  • I just got it today after playing it all day yesterday when all I had was performance issues. Now today, it's just fighting these constant server boots. I even tried port forwarding and that didn't bloody help. This has been a problem for people even from a week ago and not one reply was made. This is a joke. Considering on refunding by tomorrow if they haven't made any effort into fixing this.

    Frequency of issue: every hour. After 3-4 rounds.

    I don't get how this would be a local issue? I played it for 4-8 hours yesterday with no issues other than performance wise.

    @RainsOCastamere Hey, to clarify, what I meant is that if you could never play online at all, then there may be a local issue. If you could play intermittently, then this is less likely. 


    For those still affected by this, I have word that restarting the game client or your systems can help. Putting the game into rest/suspend mode won't help, but a restart should.

  • Thanks for the reply David, unfortunately that doesn't fix the issue. What happens is that after you restart the game you may be able to fit 2-3 rounds before the servers start crashing. That's my experience anyway, most people have the same issue. This causes us to reboot the game 4-5 times for every hour of gamepay. I counted 7 reboots in a 1 hour. Which is not what I want to do in my downtime after spending $110 on the trooper edition. Ive tried Port forwarding, which is literally the last thing I can do and it did not work.
    I've rebooted my PC as well. The last thing I want to do is reinstall it, and at 3MB/s (Australias best internet lol) I'm not prepared to do that unless it's a confirmed fix

    Thanks for the extra info. This clearly isn't ideal behaviour and hopefully a fix can be applied soon. 

    The next time you're affected by this can you try matchmaking into a different game mode and see if that has any effect? It's not an ideal workaround but it may reduce downtime.

  • I've tried all 5 modes but the results are the same. Some people tried to switch their ping regions but it's the same result. I believe this is definitely a server side issue simply because of the amount of people who've reported it. Fingers crossed that it gets fixed. Might have to refund it until it does, which is not what I want to do but it's unfortunately what might happen :/

    Just began getting this error, I was playing the game all yesterday no problem (aside from getting disconnect error when leaving a game, but it didn't hinder my ability to play). Now I can't connect to any games. I join Galactic Assault, Strike, whatever mode, the map begins loading then I get disconnected with error 327 after a couple of seconds.

    I am also getting the same error code. 327 lost connection to server. Game keeps freezing during game play. Several times I have been competing in a multi-player game and suddenly screen freezes and then it goes back to Battlefront 2 loading screen - with Iden, Ray etc. Very frustrating, spend all that money and can't even play without crashing.

    This is happening on my Xbox one, and cannot play. It's been going on for two days, Tuesday was great..but now it's every game it crashes, or after the game it says I've lost connection, when I still have internet.

    I’m PS4 to I get the unable to connect to ea servers after a match when I go back to the main menu was on the phone to ea earlier still nothing when is this going to be sorted ?!

    Super weird but I just connected up my old router and guess what, problem solved. Apparently my outdated tech works on the EA service without a hitch. Seriously, I played all of the weekend with no issues, plugged my new kit back in and boom, 20 minutes and I get booted. This has to be something on EAs end with request handling to the server, surely they have tech guys who can see why this is happening. Please update us EA rather than just "we are aware of the issue" that's really not helping us. It's like "yeah we know about it", ok cool so what are you doing about it?, "meh, pretty much nothing as Dave brought in some donuts and we are just seeing how many you can eat before throwing up"

    I don't have an old router to try, maybe I'll try rolling back my firmware on the router and see if that does anything.
