well that is because. this is a full Jedi game.
like in use, the light side of the force only.
I also wish we could use, the dark side of the force.
so we could customize our force powers more or lightsaber.😞

- So what? It's a game and red is just a color. Things do not have to stick to Star Wars Dogma in video games. It sucks that we currently do not have the option for a red blade. Good thing we are discussing this on this forum so that people from EA may decide to add an option for a red blade and other force powers.
well is how the star wars canon storyline is.
and it says if you use a Red Lightsaber. you also use the dark side of the force.
and star wars Jedi fallen order. is part of the canon storyline.
it is therefore there is no Red Lightsaber. because you play as a Jedi.
but maybe if we are lucky. this game gets one day DLCs.
and we plays as a Sith. or other dark side user.
- @MichaelDK I don’t think a pink saber is part of canon, yet they have that. And if you’re going to have a saber color as lame as pink, you better damn well have a red saber.
pink saber is canon.
Mace Windu's lightsaber is pink.
but it got more Purple as time move on.

- @MichaelDK If they must be so dedicated to following Star Wars Dogma for some stupid reason, then Cal could get the red crystal from Cere’s/Trilla’s Lightsaber that he took and put it in his own sword. That way he wouldn’t have to bleed an already bled crystal.
- @MichaelDK Plus it’s really douchey for EA to show Cere fight Vader with a red saber without giving you the option for the red saber yourself
Disney is in control of all things Star Wars. Therefore, EVERYTHING released they have said will be canon. Movies, TV series, Comics, and even video games. The only time you will ever get a red lightsaber is if you play a dark side force user. Why? All lightsabers turn red when when you channel the hate through them, regardless of their original color. Or, Cal has to steal a sith's weapon, and you got your red lightsaber.
Sorry, they're never gonna make this change. If you want to be angry, be angry with Disney and their unwaivering legal team, because Respawn was held to very high standards to produce this game to protect the authenticity of Star Wars. I kinda like it, because there's no more "but did it actually happen or is it just fan fiction?" like in the old days.
"- @Gargamel314 How do you know they’re not gonna make the change? Cal can get the red light saber too since he took one of Trilla’s and gave it to Cere. He could take that already bled crystal and put it in his on saber.
- @Gargamel314 Along with Cal and Cere having Trilla’s red saber that he could remove the crystal from and put in his own saber, how the heck one single crystal able to change to blue, green, purple, orange, yellow, pink, and indigo?
i do think it would have been better storytelling to just let you choose your color ONCE and make you keep it.
