- Kevlegs5 years agoSeasoned Ace@sixtybucks I'd buy it they did it. They reworked the original Halo and I loved that you could switch back to the original graphics in game to see how far things have come.
If they did that then it would be truly amazing. Think it would atleast create a die hard community. Ok, perhaps wouldn't bring in boat loads of cash instantly but they would certainly have a strong fanbase that would bring in the dough over a longer duration.
- @Quadro2k For sure, I mean, people are still buying the originals in GOG. These remasters would sell forever, and create a big community too. I mean who doesn't want to blow up the Death Star with their buddies? And who doesn't want to be Vader's wingman?
And you can continue to expand these with countless of stories from prequels, sequels, in betweens... I would like to play some "canyon flight" battle between X-Wings and TIE Fighters!
I'd definitely love it if all the old X-Wing/TIE Fighter games to be remastered with Squadrons' engine including VR Support etc.. and ideally co-operative multiplayer support for all campaigns. Perhaps it will be something that EA will consider to do in the future if Squadrons does well (although I'd guess they'd have to bring Holland/Kilham on board for that as well, which would be great).
TAKE MY MONEY!!!
This! So much this! Please! Please! Please!
YES PLEASE
- @sixtybucks Would love it. I like how the ONE time I want them to sell me more product after launch that they have no plans to do so.
Give then fanbase, if EA doesn't jump on this for us to throw money at, someone else will I imagine.
If they want money up front, Kickstart that *, would blow Star Citizen out of the water. Maybe one day i'll actually get to play Squadron 42... That is a great idea! It would be a risky project but could net a pretty return if done right.
