Game and Cutscenes freeze during play

I haven't had any issues with the game until after this current patch. Many times during sessions, the game will freeze up, sometimes for a couple mins. The audio continues to play though. It starts out fine when I first load into the game, but then gets worse and worse with longer and more frequent freezes the longer I play. The game never crashes. It always eventually unfreezes, and I don't get any errors. It can freeze at any point in the game. During combat, in menus, and during cutscenes. The freezing in cutscenes is really bad. Sometimes the visuals for the cutscenes freeze for the entire length of the scene, while the audio continues by itself. Sometimes after a minute's pause, the visuals recover, but then the audio is out of synch.

Intel Core i5 3330 @ 3.00GHz

16 GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1TB

I've tried running the repair feature multiple times, rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling, turning down the graphic settings, setting the game's priority to high in Task Manager. Nothing really seems to work. The only other thing I thought of was the fact that the last time I played Fallen Order, I was running Windows 7 on my PC instead of 10. Could run the game at the highest graphics settings without a hitch in Windows 7. However, I haven't come across this issue with any of the other games I play. The rest of them all function the same in Windows 10 as they did in Windows 7.
