Can’t start a match with a cross platform party

My friends (Xbox) and I (PC) partied up, but could not start a match. We all checked to make sure crossplay was enabled, and cycled through each of us as the party leader while attempting to start a match. We tried quick match, and dog fight mode. In all cases, the party leader would select “start match”, and the only thing that would happen is the “start match” button would grey out. No loading icon, no loading screen. Everything just sat there. I could play on my own, and the Xbox players could play together, but combined we could not start the matchmaking process.
