Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. Mission 5 on Veteran Difficulty - ION weapon kills transports. can someone help me please? i saw a video of someone doing it on youtube and they shoot the transports until they are stunned. i figured i was doing it right yet somehow my ion cannons kill them. the ships main weapon is Ion cannon and it has only support loadout, its * me, please help. https://youtu.be/QRpd9A0PHSg?t=5907 im supposed to disable them before they goto hyper space and yet i shot them 2 - 4 shots and they explode. ive tried everything i gather its a bug on veteran difficulty?

What happens when the bug occurs? can do the mission , the ship is only equipped with ion cannons and yet as you can see in the video it gets destroyed every time, and its supposed to just get disabled.. my x56 did not detect properly and i had to set up the buttons correctly as it setup the throttle and JS completely wrong even after i had to tell the game that stick 1 is the JS and stick 2 is throttle, they are 2 separate units and even says throttle and joystick this game has really been so frustrating from setting up and game that is aimed at people who play flight sims and use HOTAs, as the story goes on im just getting over it. please let me know what else i can do,
What do you expect to see? i expect to see this https://youtu.be/wskTVXMbPXg?t=292 this is the same mission on someone else account and their guns clearly disable the ships, as you can see in my video they blow up, same gun same ship same mission and i think mines set to harder level as i have 10 counter measures and he has 20
