I have the same issue. I've tried a ton of things to make this work. I found a log file and here's the exception.

Date: 2022-05-24
Time: 18.29.50
Thread: id: 1260, sys id: 28180, name: (unavailable)
Type: ACCESS_VIOLATION writing address 0x4009812
Instruction address: 0x00000001402978c2 "E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\STAR WARS Squadrons\starwarssquadrons.exe":0x0001:0x002968c2Things I've tried:
- Launching in VR mode (I don't have VR)
- Reinstalling
- Repairing
- Running as admin
- Reinstalled Easy Anti Cheat as regular user and admin
- Moving from M.2 drive to SSD
- Added exception to install folder in Windows Defender
- Turning off Windows Defender
- Granted access of all related folders to everyone
- Installed Origin
- Launch from Geforce Experience
- Degrade video settings of Squadrons from Geforce Experience
Oddly enough it launched one time in VR mode. Haven't been able to reproduce. It worked on my old machine. When I rebuilt it won't run.

i checked the file that you attached, and i found out that i have the same one in the game folder.

and i have too a laptop and on it its run with no problem at all
Our computers are very similar. I have an i7-12700K and an ASUS Prime Z690-A.
I can't figure out if the access violation is related to Easy Anti Cheat or some sort of segmentation fault.
- @Botamis Hi
I don’t know how and y but sometimes it works ounce after restart.
And if i quick and lunch again it doesn’t work again.
Is this happening to you too? Unfortunately that does not work for me. Glad you found a workaround though!
- @Botamis I didn’t find anything
Its working 1/20 times Similar issue here. I played it several months ago with no issue. I upgraded my PC since then and haven't been able to play since. I can't get past the Anti-Cheat at start-up on Steam. I also have a log printing.

-Verifying files
-Fixing Anti-Cheat
-Turned off all overlays
-Turned off all Steam input settings
-Installing Squadrons in the same directory as the Steam app
-Uninstall and reinstall
-Installed on SATA drive and M.2 drive
PC specs
-ASUS Z690-E MB
-Intel i7 12700K
-ASUS 3080TI
-32GB Corsair Dominator
-SSD SATA drive and M.2 drive
I've looked all over and can't find a solution. BF2 loads up fine as does Apex Legends.
We all have two things in common. We played the game before and rebuilt our machines with an Intel i7 12700K or KF.
Same issue here, my processor: i5-12600K
I can get the game to run by restarting my computer. After a restart, the game will boot up the first time I run it, but it will hit the access exception every time after that until I restart again.
Note: Mine is essentially a new PC which has never run squadrons previously.

It seems to me that the issue is due to other programs that are running. For example SLOBS, and virtual desktop. Where is the EA support? They are still selling the game, it should be supported. Why is this ok for them, this is affecting many people, just take a look in the discussions for steam. (https://steamcommunity.com/app/1222730/discussions/0/4626981579416265513/?ctp=5) . So try running only the essentials and then launching the game.
