Link2EA error during installation from Epic Games 'To continue linking your EA'

Hi,

I have contacted the EA-support by e-mail and after exchanging e-mails more than 15 times they suggest I publish it here due to many people having this issue. Here is the issue:

I bought the game from Epic Games and pressed the 'Install' button. It resulted in opening Link2EA which gives an error like this: Something went wrong... To continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over. This can be seen below.

The things that did not work for me during our exchange of e-mails are below, maybe it will work for someone else:

• Refer to the link below for the EA Help article on How to link your EA Account to your Epic Games account. ==> This error occurs during 4th step, after pressing the install button

• First, please try to clear the cache with the help of this EA help link:

  And then I would appreciate it if you please try to link the platform account to the correct EA account:
  https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/link-your-console-accounts/

• Temporary disable any antivirus/firewall
  - run EAapp with Admin rights
  - run "App recovery" from the help menu of the EA app
  - restart EAapp with Admin rights
  - close Epic client and clear the Epic Games Launcher’s web cache:

  - run Epic launcher with Admin rights
  - check again that u use correct EA and Epic accounts
  - run the EA game from the Epic client.
