Platinum Trophy not showing up in Jedi Survivor

I apologize if this has been answered or is a dumb question(I’m new to this). I did a search and this exact thing was not mentioned.

i finished Jedi: Survivor and had 100% explored all maps, databases, tactical guides.. found all the scrolls disc etc…. But noticed I was missing the dreaded “you for a friend” trophy… I had the other 52. I started a NG+ and finally unlocked it and now show 53/53 and 1000/1000 but did not receive the platinum trophy. I figured maybe because on the NG+ I hadn’t unlocked all the maps so I hoped hoping back to my other save would trigger it but no luck. 

Is something messed up or do I now need to re-explore and unlock all the maps again in NG+ to get platinum?

I’ve never really attempted to platinum a game before so I’m not really sure what I’m doing haha!
