Jedi survivor: can’t travel to koboh

Is this what games are like these days?

complete first level, go to travel to next one. Can’t do it because game needs to download latest patch.

Has been like that for 48 hours, no sign of a download being complete. 

what on earth? 

how can I actually play the game I spent £55 quid on. 

seriously, is stuff like this considered ok and normal these days?
