I am also stuck here. It’s not that the little pulley is spawning in the wrong place. It’s that when I let go of the pulley and then try to pull the box out of the cage the character freezes in place for about 1 1/2 seconds, which is just long enough to not be able to pull the box out of the cage before the cage closes again. I’m on a PS5. I have tried this for half an hour, and watched all the videos where everyone else seems to be able to do it easily. However, cow gets stuck in place when he drops the pulley, and I just cannot pull the block out from the cage. This is preventing me from progressing in the game at all. Please fix this.
Exathe dame situation here. After releasing the pully, Cal is stuck for a second d while trying to run forward, just Ling enough to not be able to make it within range of force pulling the block from behind the gate.
@Midnight_Rum1 Cal shouldn't be getting stuck at all, so that part might be a bug or a performance-related issue. But can you walk Cal forward enough while still holding the pulley completely taut that he's close enough to use Force Pull as soon as he unfreezes? I don't know whether this would work because I never had to try myself, but it's a simple test.
The issue is 2 fold:
1. The block doesn't light up blue until about 2 "Cal-Lengths" from it. So any delay makes it impossible to pull.
2. Cal gets stuck a about a half seconds d after releasing the pulley, accounting for the delay.
UPDATE:
I got fed up and restarted the PS5. This solved issue 1 allowing the block to fully light up much further away. The Cal bug is still there but jumping upon release helped a lot.
GOOD LUCK.
I am playing the game on PC. When I force pull the pulley, I am not able to release it. I have tapped on all the keys on the keyboard, but not able to release the pulley. I tried to save the game after going back to the meditation point, and then reload it, but even that doesn't help.
Please help!
@docswayam Try restoring your key bindings to the defaults.
I've also found that in some cases, clicking the original key first, I believe C in this case, then the key you've bound to that command makes the command work. For example, to use the blaster, I had to click the original Force Attack key once, then the one I'd assigned to Force Attack would work until Cal put away the blaster.
