Jedha - Trailhead Pantheon : Stuck behind a forcefield and unable to progress.
I was playing in Jedha - Trailhead Pantheon shortly after the part where Merrin says we should split up so she can hold off the enemies. After doing a traversal puzzle, I made my way through a cave to a meditation point. As soon as I saved on the medidation point, I got an error saying the following:
UNEXPECTED ERROR:
You seem to have bypassed certain story elements. Continuing to play from this point may encounter issues.
Option 1: Load Last Save
Option 2: Proceed
If I choose load, I load at the meditation point I just saved at which is right behind a forcefield. I suspect this forcefield was not streamed in while playing and allowed me to pass through a story gated area. Now my latest save loads me behind a forcefield blocking the way.
One path leads me to the forcefield, the other path is a cliff (see screenshots). I am unable to progress the story and have no idea how I can fix this problem. The game is essentially broken after about 20 hours of play time into the story.
I really hope there is a workaround for this as starting the game from scratch is pretty much not an option at this point.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. And hopefully this bug is fixed for others not to experience.
Thanks,
I was able to use the fast travel to another meditation point. Fortunately it did not corrupt my quest. I was worried I may have skipped forward in the story but was able to continue where I left off. In any case, probably worth investigating this bug to prevent others from encountering it.
