I can't complete the rumor "Explore the Ruins in the Northern Desert". At the very top of the hill, the ball that various walkthroughs show as being in the groove on the ground is missing from my game completely. I've tried reloading, and verified the game files. Ea won't give me permission to open a bug report.
Playing on PC on Steam. Windows 10.
EA, please fix. Quest is broken.
@bluntwit The ball doesn't appear at the top of the ruins until you've moved it up from lower down in the ruins. That's the puzzle. If you did manage to move the ball up and it disappeared, that's a bug for sure; I'm just asking in case it's a misunderstanding.
If you did move the ball up the wall, did anything interrupt the process? I believe I've seen another thread stating the same thing, but I'd have to look for it.
At any rate, let me know either way, and if necessary, I can move your post to the bug forum. The usual reason that someone can't post in Bugs for a given game is that they've set the language of this site (along the top of the window) to something other than English. But it doesn't matter now that you've posted since I can just move everything over.
