Same issue here on PS5. Started from the last meditation point (save). Zip line across to the yacht and go through the normal route to board. Once on the yacht, the slice button appears for a second then gone with no way to proceed forward. I’ve tried restarting from save, turn off PS5, then restart from save. It looks to me like starting a brand new journey is the only way past this. $100 Deluxe Bummer!
So I ended up uninstalling the game then restarting my journey and it worked fine. I didn't die when I ended the cutscene in that area and made sure i did everything right and it worked how it should. Idk if uninstallint it made a difference or just restarting your journey works fine. But yea thats what i did. Luckily its only about 30 mins in and not like 3 hours. I have heard theres a glitch about 2 or 3 hours in that if you dont meditate before a fight and die in the fight it completely breaks the game. So lessons are just meditate at every spot possible to save your game and try not to die.
@Ronan4Whitock i honestly don't blame you for not wanting to restart. That yacht spot is only like 20 mins into the game so its not like 2 3 hours. I had this controller glitch happen during a boss fight where my controller would "disconnect" and that was infuriating too. Along with my game lagging during the fight. The issue with EA rn is is that we dont know when theyre going to patch the game. Could be 1 week, could be 2 days, etc. To save 20 mins, restarting isnt that bad, trust me. Shouldn't have to but the game was released prematurely obviously
Did they ever provide you with a fix? I'm having the same issue.
