Star Wars Survivor - Can't cross the pipe in Coruscant

I'm at a point where Cal has to cross a pipe, after which the other end is supposed to break and gently drop him down,, but he falls down into an enemy pack, and dies on impact. Tried it 100 times and I still fall then die and eventually Spawn. There doesn't seem to be a loose pipe on the other end. Frustrating as hell and I can't find anything about it. Small clips I have seen just say press X and jump. (PS5)

I've tried jumping into the lit circle below, but doesn't work.
