Please update your AMD Radeon driver error

I also have this issue while running AMD Radeon Software version 17.7. I'm unsure of how to update the software and after seeing this thread, don't believe updating will fix my issue.

I had the same thing happen except the drivers were actually out of date.  I didn't want to update them because it worked fine with the old drivers, but I thought they were forcing me to.  Now I have horrible graphics problems and it claims my internet connection is slow (which it is not).

Menus don't even load properly, my character loads into a game about 10 seconds before it actually draws the graphics and then it only draws about 1 frame every 2 seconds, when I get a couple minutes into a match it isn't nearly as bad but it still can't be over 15 fps, plus my screen flashes and contains graphics tears etc.. 

I should mention this is with the beta version of the driver and it was 10x worse when I installed the recommended driver version (I tried the beta driver after installing the recommended driver to see if it was any better.)

Pair that with not getting credits for duplicates and all the other issues...  I am out of words and out of patience.

I'm having this EXACT problem (the same problem -xX-Palisade-Xx- is having) after updating my AMD Radeon driver last night. It's so bad that I can't even queue for Galactic Assault, because when I'm placed into the match, I lag for a minute and then I am kicked out for "bad internet connection." Everything was fine before this patch.

Patiently waiting for a fix, but I'm kind of annoyed that I can't play right now without a lag fest in everything I play. (Arcade, HvV, Jetpack Cargo, etc..)

This IS a valid problem, hope it's fixed soon.

Still no technical solution for the matter, the weird is that before the update we were playing just nice and now we cannot play the game at all. 

So I managed to get the game to work by uninstalling my drivers and installing the 17.7.1 that the game wants. Just google "AMD Radeon 17.7.1" and click the link that takes you to AMD's page for that driver. Follow the instructions and you should be good to go.

Well, i did it too, but it opened just once, saw the starting screen, blank and when I restarted the game got the exact same message...😢

When installing the 17.7.1 driver did you make sure the box marked something similar to "Keep my system up to date" was not checked. It is on the screen when it is asking you to restart now.

I have yet to try to re-update to the latest available drivers, but if your system auto updated, that might be your issue.

Well nothing, downloaded the Display Driver Uninstaller, and removed from safe mode my drivers, reinstalled the 7.1 drivers and the game started....with frame rate of two or three fps, completely unplayable. Presumed that since it sees my 7.1 drivers I could upgrade them and maybe the game plays well. But no, as soon as I update the drivers to 17.12, the game shows the good old 0.0.0 drivers message. I think I had enough with this game, I m sorry for the money I gave for it, and EA ruined a perfectly good game with the 1.2 update.

I had the same error and I found remedy, none of drivers or other solutions helped me. I have Ryzen 5 2400G APU with Vega 11 Graphics with lastest drivers from 12.12.2018y.
The point is You just have to edit your Regedit key
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000
here you have to find
    RadeonSoftwareVersion
and change its value (in my case from 17.7.0 to 17.7.1 or even 17.7.2)

After that in theory you should restart your computer, but for me it worked instantly after closing Regedit.
