Ever since the latest Solo movie content was downloaded and installed, I am no longer able to play the main campaign of Iden Versio. I cannot continue from where I left off or restart the campaign. It starts to load, for about 5 minutes, then the game exits back to the Origin launcher.
I have tried the repair option, closed all other software that is running in the background, but nothing seems to work.

What you also can do is a clean boot, to see if there any programs messing with SWBF2 or Origin.

Well I have attached my DxDiag file. Battlefront 2 works fine in all modes except the main Iden Versio campaign. I am a bit wary of doing a 'clean boot' as I am not very technically minded, and would hate my PC to fail afterwards.

I can see that you CPU is below minimum requirements but there is items that we can try to so solve the crashing issue.

If you follow the clean boot guide on what it is saying no harm should not happen. Run CCleaner and make sure that all drivers are up to date.

DICE TeamHey @BedlamNema, yes it would help but you wont see any big difference, as your CPU is the one doing the bottleneck.

DICE TeamHey @D14BH4L Thank you for the dxdiag, Ï saw the GPU drivers are out of date try updating them and see if that changes anything.
What you also can do is so run CCleaner and clean boot the to remove old temp files and programs that could messing with SWBF2.

Well, updating the GPU driver and using CCleaner didn't fix anything, but playing while doing a clean boot worked. I mean, it's a bit annoying that you need to disable the startup programs (I don't have that many, but still) and do a clean boot every time you want to play the singleplayer campaign of an specific game (because this is the first time I have to do a workaround like that to play a game. Mysterious are the ways of the Force).
But hey, at least it worked and I completed the campaign without crashing each 5 minutes (only two crashes during the rest of the campaign, but compared to the situation before that's minor), so it's fine. And I don't need to do the same workaround anymore because the rest of the modes work correctly at the moment. Thanks for the help.
DICE TeamHey, @D14BH4L So that means that there is a program that you are shutting off when you are doing a clean boot that is causing problems for SWBF2 to run normally.
The long process of this would be doing a clean boot one by on trying to find what program that is causing the issue for SWBF2.
