Well I have attached my DxDiag file. Battlefront 2 works fine in all modes except the main Iden Versio campaign. I am a bit wary of doing a 'clean boot' as I am not very technically minded, and would hate my PC to fail afterwards.

I can see that you CPU is below minimum requirements but there is items that we can try to so solve the crashing issue.

If you follow the clean boot guide on what it is saying no harm should not happen. Run CCleaner and make sure that all drivers are up to date.

Hey @BedlamNema, yes it would help but you wont see any big difference, as your CPU is the one doing the bottleneck.

- 8 years agoThe minimal CPU requirements is blatantly wrong and his CPU should be doing just fine, this is not a bottleneck problem. I'm having a similar issue where I can comfortably play Arcade missions and the game set by default on the high settings and my CPU is considered to be "under" the minimal requirements. I checked and the problem is that this game has some weird coding issue that prevents it from drawing full CPU power. It's basically a reverse bottleneck.
You can't just go on saying that the problem is the dude's CPU and that he should spend 300$ buying a newer one when its quite fine.
