i hear ya but maybe this will work for you http://www.bluestacks.com/ save the file to your computer then install it your pc

google play for the free SWTOR app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bioware.android.apps.authenticator

install the app then you log into your SWTOR account add/ under set up mobile security keys that will give you a very long code make note of it you'll input that code into the app to get it started after that the app should be good to go

now and then you'll when you launch Bluestacks it'll have two pane panel buy something on the left or install app of choice on the right select the install app

one time i had an issue with Bluestacks having a black sceen this article fixed it

Rumbutter, thank you for your quick response.

I don't mean to be ungrateful... But, that seems like it's even more complicated than just checking my email. I still have to load up this app every single time, right?

I mean, thank you, and I'll try it out, but... This doesn't seem like much of a solution.
What's funny is that right now I don't even have time to play the game... I just want to login so it'll start downloading updates so that maybe I can play sometime in the next few days.

i understand i didn't take it wrong at all 🙂 yep just launch the bluestacks click on the SWTOR app the window will pop up with your SK type in the launcher and off you go quicker then email it's right on the desktop

sorry didn't reply sooner needed my tea LOL hope you get to play soon 🙂 and updated as soon as possible

it's just handy to have for those of us on a budget or not having a phone

No need to use an emulator now any RFC6328 TOTP Authenticator can be used.

See here there is a link to WINAUTH for example , if need portability it can be set on a USB stick

This should be something we can toggle. I personally do not really have a huge vested interest in the security of my imaginary star wars characters and would like to toggle this feature off. I am sure there are those who prefer to have the protection. Let those of us who are annoyed or are being required to use third party programs turn off the added security measure.
