If you play as a Sniper you pretend ONE thing: kill people with headshots. Well, i tried many times but they survive. Is it a game problem or not? Am I unlucky? Is it a latency issue? Please help me. Thanks.

  • Yes this can happen that you will get a head shot hit marker(Amber/golden coloured) and the opponent survives. I don't really play as the specialists but was always under the impression you needed two shots to the head on a heavy for example who has more health. I think it's something to do with necessary damage limitations on the weapons even for head shots. It depends on the weapon used and the opponents health. You have so many officers running around with buffs ensuring you will need two shots on most, also bare in mind assault has an individual health buff. As the heavy with a TL50 I can tell you that one shot in the head will not defeat anyone and even with the sentry you'll need more than one of those shots to connect with the head.

    @Sati_Sati is a legend with stats. Got any stats for this one?

  • I have never encountered this.

    Are you sure you're hitting their head - i.e. do you hear the different sound that indicates a head shot?

    I'm assuming you're not shooting at a hero or someone with a shield.

    Hello there! :eahigh_file:

    Sure thing, this is the specialist's blaster damage data (and Headshot damage).

    • Default Specialist's blaster : 45 (85)
    • IQA-11 : 67 (127)
    • A280-CFE : 33-25 (62-47)
    • NT-242 : 106 (201)

    As you can see, you cannot defeat the enemy in 1 headshot with the default blaster/IQA-11/A280-CFE unless they are already injured. If you are using the NT-242, you can do it even if the enemy is full hp heavy class (they have 200 hp). But as @Tinogiggedy mentioned, it depends on the situation. They may have some buffs. So please be careful and good luck! 😉

    Note: Default Specialist's blaster = Vulken-38X/E-5S/DLT-20A/DLT-19X/A180/DLT-19D (It depends on your faction)

    @Tinogiggedy

    The TL-50 altfire can deal 100 damage. But this is blast damage, so it cannot be the headshot as far as I know. 🤔
