Go to the origin app, then in the upper left corner click in the Origin tab:
Then click the Application Settings option. A new window will appear, and in the upper part you'll find Origin In-Game:
There you just have to turn off 'Enable Origin In-Game':- @RogueZeroRendar this didnt fix my problem either , is there no other fix?

I had responded on the other topic but this one is better to keep this conversation
It can be a piece of hardware that messes the game. Try removing everything USB attached to your PC except your mouse and keyboard. It should do the trick if the overlays didn't. Let us know if it solves the issue for you.Unfortunately this did not solve it either , I've already updated my driver's and all , steam , discord and origin overlay is off also /:

If you can bring more info on your specific case that would be very useful. I'm not aware of another common reason for a stuck mouse besides bad peripheral reading (usually USB devices) or gaming overlays. If you didn't already, I recommend disabling the Xbox Gaming App. All Windows 10 PCs come with it, and it's another gaming overlay. Another suggestion is to go to your game's .exe, right click, choose Properties, and then in compatibility disable fullscreen optimizations.
If these don't work, I'd like to know more details of your issue to see if we can find another workaround that might fix your issue.Hi, I have a similar problem where, after starting the game, it would either make the cursor disappear and be stuck in the middle of the screen, or lock it into "blue loading circle" form while pretty much disabling any mouse control in game. I've tried every solution in this thread, but none of them worked. This first started when I installed Logitech G Hub on my pc (Windows 11 btw). Can you help me fix this?
okay so, im like 4 years late and hopefully you reply BUT, im experiencing this problem but with a different game (sims 4). I already tried a new mouse and it still didnt work. the problem im having is that whenever I move the mouse in the game it freezes in place and doesnt move until it wants to and it is pissing me off…I JUST WANT TO PLAY. the mouse works properly outside of games but freezes and glitches and overall just doesn’t work inside of games, so I cant play at all. this also happened with roblox…so I dont know if its my laptop or the games. please help.
In Battlefront 2, the issue for me was a missing driver for the wireless controller. Without it, when opening the game, at the menu it looked like it recognizes a xbox controller and clicks wherever whenever. When installed, it resolved it without needing to close the overlay. Hope it might be similar for sims. Bless ya.
If u have the NVidia GD then u need to disable that overlay
