Your evidence is always perfect. But this glitch has never happened to me again, and I always go back to selection screen upon death, so it's really weird that somehow this still affects you so much, but doesn't affect me anymore, while a few months ago it did, just like it did to most players that took notice.

And I'm sorry EA hasn't responded to the issue yet. They have a very frustrating habit of not saying anything even when they read and forward stuff. And DICE has an even more frustrating habit of not listing every fix they apply in their patches. So until then, you either hope that somehow this becomes a widespread issue so they have to respond and work quickly, or you hope they eventually fix it by chance and you stop experiencing it.

And keep doing what you've been doing, I can't guarantee this will make it get fixed, but it's important to update them on issues because whenever people stop complaining about something, they bury it.

Hey! I just wanted to drop in and give you an update. This glitch still occurs, even after the latest Scarif patch. It seems now the game is also having issues with matchmaking across all modes; however, this is a separate issue. 

I have noticed that things have gotten better, but not perfect. The bug now occurs if you change your character after dying during HVV. If you change your character, then die as the next character you selected, it’ll say “starting as random hero...”
