"The xml configuration seems to be corrupt"

I tried Reinstalling SWTOR after I did a computer clean up, and it showed an error message saying: "The xml configuration seems to be corrupt" I have no idea what this means, I'm not big on computers, but I was wondering if it could be something to do with undeleted SWTOR files or maybe the xml means something Idk. can anyone help me?

    @LukeB2k03

    Add swtor.exe and launcher.exe to your anti-virus and firewall.  Also what Anti-virus are you using?  You can also try a repair as per here.

    Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time

    Copy the following in to the text box and press ok

    %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

     you will find the xml files in the GuiProfile folder maybe just delete that folder , it just means you will have to setup any custom UIs again
