- @dillgrunty24 they unlinked for me, too, but still the error message comes... waiting for bug fix hopefully soon 🙂
- @nyersike Me too. Can’t play battlefront because of this issue. I keep getting that report when I try to login to orgin with my ea account that it’s already been linked with another account, even though I unlinked it already.
- @RoccoMarz yeah I really wanted to battlefront on the pc, but no everyone is having the same issues unfortunately ☹️
How did you even manage to get to a chat window? I can't find how to contact them
- @A-R1_F0X pick another problem, like something related to buying games. They tend to make the chat window appear when it's a money-related issue. Little life-hack.

I am having the same issue, so I am jumping on to share and see if others have found a solution yet. It seems that once EQ fixed the account it's still thinking it's connected to Epic. They told me on the phone it was a known issue and to watch the Twitter feed or here for the fix.
Hi @EA_Cade, I know this thread is marked as resolved, but it's only partially resolved. I spoke to support and they were able to disconnect the EA account from Epic, but when I try to reconnect it to the correct EA Origin account there is an error stating that it's already connected to a different account. They told me on the phone this was a known issue, but there was no ETA and no way to track if it has or has not been resolved. In this situation, what do we do?
- @dillgrunty24 They unlinked mine too but when I try to link mine it still says that my girlfriend account is still connected to mine, very sad :/
- @A-R1_F0X There are times that the live chat is available, it says on their website, but it seemed to me that the US live chat is available 24/7 I might be wrong though
- @BroMacK I also want to know about that. At least it is good to hear that they acknowledged the problem...

Having the same issue. Is there any where we can check the progress or get updates, maybe via the @EAHelp twitter account ?
there were 2 patches for Origin this week... I was hopeful that it is already the solution for our problem but unfortunately not... it seems this second weekend will not be spent with Battlefront II either 🙂 it would be appreciated if we could be informed in more details and/or if we could get some kind of forecast when the problem will be fixed
again... an update came out a few minutes ago for Origin, thought this will be it... 🙂 but no, it wasn't ☹️
maybe it is for me but this thread is signed as SOLVED but it is far from solved in my opinion, hordes of players are waiting for it to be solved 🙂 we want to play already 🙂
do you know at EA how much patience is required waiting for more than a week and nothing happens? 😉

So, I just contacted EA Help via live chat, in order to unlink my Epic Games account from one EA account, in order to connect to another EA account.
They immediatly unlinked it, and I was already able to connect to my other EA account.
Just wanted to let you know that you might be able to do the same!
So you know, I asked for help using this information:

@EduChicoStill not working for me. I would imagine if you tried to link the original EA account that you previously connected to Epic to a different Epic account you will get the error.

@K8vnn I did, yes!
I confirmed it, and I was able to connect a new EA account to my Epic Games copy of "Star Wars™ Battlefront™ II: Celebration Edition".
All the progress from that EA account is there, and with the new stuff unlocked, all working!

I don't know :/ Here is the current situation I have. EPIC-B and EA-B are my personal accounts, and EPIC-J and EA-J are my son's accounts. We made the mistake of connecting my Epic account to my son's EA account which started us down this path. Here is where I am stuck:
- EPIC-B connected mistakenly to EA-J
- Disconnected EPIC-B from EA-J via support
- Successfully connected EPIC-B to EA-B
- Error connecting EPIC-J to EA-J
