Try resetting your EA Account password. This will help in most cases.

If that doesn’t work, wait 90 minutes and try again. You may have tried to reset your password too many times and too fast.

I’m getting this error and I’ve tried everything that has been suggested in previous posts (password rest, power cycle, etc). I need help getting this fixed so I can just play the game. 

I'm having that issue now as well.

I’m having the exact same problem, pay money every month to pay for games we can’t play.

I have tried everything that is listed on this subject. It won't let me play any EA game online. PLEASE HELP!!! 

So since I have gotten absolutely NO HELP WHATSOEVER I will be deactivating my account. This has been a months long issue. And not one EA staffer has helped with my emails or cases I've made. 

I haven't played this game in years, but recently my friends got it for free with playstation plus and i wanted to get back into it. When i booted up the game it automatically tells me that my account is invalid and i can't go online. Is there any fix to this?

Also when you reach out to EA support did you try chat also worth poking them on Twitter.

To why I'm asking is because we don't handel accounts issues on a public forum.

This is my absolute last resort before I entirely give up on EA games in the future. I had Battlefront 2 since 3 days before launch, I've played it a lot since then, until a few months ago when it told me my EA Account is invalid. I've filled out numerous forms and talked to a few support workers, they were absolutely no help. All they did was direct me to the same link to the same report I had already filled multiple times. I am not asking any longer to fix my EA Account. I could care less at this point. All I want is for my PSN account to be unlinked, so I can play EA games in the future. Specifically Squadrons. I even bought that Celebration Upgrade in December, and that's not even proof I am who I am. I no longer have access to the email linked to it, as I made that in 2005 and never kept track of my passwords. Auto sign in is a curse. I abandoned that email back in 2017. All I want is to be able to play Star Wars games. Please and thank you. This is my last resort before you lose a loyal EA Star Wars fan.

I definitely understand this is frustrating. I know I'd hate to lose access to my account as well! However, we really need to verify ownership before making any changes to the account. Especially when it comes to unlinking the PSN ID because that wipes out all progress on all EA games. You'd be starting over with Battlefront 2. As well as other games like Apex Legends, Battlefield and any Ultimate Teams would be deleted. So, we can't just unlink accounts without being sure the owner is making that request. The best I can suggest is to fill out the form again. The answers need to be accurate to the history of the account in order for it to be recovered.

Thanks for the reply. I understand you need exact details, I never cared for my Origins account. I made it for the C&C collection in like 2012 or 2013. I have mentioned that in my forms, and not good enough. I even have my receipt as proof I bought the Celebration Edition in December. Still not good enough. Does EA want my DNA? Seriously. I'm done with EA. Thanks anyway. I refuse to fill out another form for nothing. No disrespect to you, I'm just crabby that having receipts and info on my PSN account isn't good enough for EA. I honestly don't know what else they want besides my passwords, which I wouldn't be in this situation if I had that. Have a good day fellow gamer. And stay safe.

I'm very sorry to hear this. We definitely hate to see this happen because we of course want you to be able to play. I know it can be difficult to recall details from several years ago, but currently, this is the only way we can feel comfortable giving access to an account you're locked out of. You may want to check back from time to time though in case another method is put in place for recovering accounts.

I am having the same issue, When I try to play Battlefront 2 I get a message saying that this account is invalid and I also get error code 4,975. I've been trying to figure it out for a week now but have had no success. When I try to link my PSN to my EA account it says the account is ineligible which I think is the root of all the issues. If you have any advice please tell me so I can play the game.

a week ago logged on only to find a invalid account message on xbox one, fixed it by logging in to ea help com and logging in with xbox account and changing password, worked for a week now its doing it again and the solution isnt fixing it this time pls help error code 4,975
