Battlefront 2 PC not launching

Did you mean to say "EA app not loading", or is it the game that is not loading after you start it from Epic?

What is the last action you perform and what do you see?

I start Epic and the EA apps and they both boot up fine. It's the actual Battlefront II game that doesn't start up. It looks like it's about to start, then crashes or something and returns to the EA app.

I suggest you attach a DXDIAG report so we can see what we're working with.

The only thing I can think that might have affected the game is the updating of the AMD GPU drivers. Before those drivers were updated, the game was working fine. I'm not sure. I'm at a loss.

did you used ea app updater? App had some updates past month.

Did you happen to install the latest AMD drivers "5 days ago"? You may need to revert to prior driver.

Also, the report shows multiple issues at the bottom in the Diagnostics section. While I don't know what they all are, those issues may be contributing.

I've just uninstalled and reinstalled the Epic and EA apps, as well as uninstalling the and reinstalling the game. Still no joy.  :(

I just tried rolling back to the previous driver and that didn't work either. I thought it was for sure the graphics driver that was causing the issue, but still no luck with the game.

You might still wanna use ea updater under windows start. I dont know if downloading from the site guarantee the latest update. 

same issue here. I've tried everything in my power to fix it. I play on Steam and have the game on Epic as well. I updated my drivers, reinstalled C++, even deleted all the files and verified them, and nothing has worked.  I found something interesting when trying to run the game as an administrator, though. It has an error and says something about msvcp120.dll not being found. This is a file in C++; even when I reinstall C++ (I tried both early and new versions), it does not solve the problem.
