Stuck at loading screen (Steam/PC)

Hi, I have freshly reinstalled the game on Steam but I am stuck at the loading screen. I have played this game without any problems with the same specs a year ago, but I cannot get past the loading screen for some reason. 

  • I bought the game through steam and tried to launch it through steam
  • My specs: RTX 2060S (External GPU on laptop), Intel i5 8th Gen
  • I tried deleting the battlefront 2 folder in Documents but it doesn't work.
  • I checked my windows/graphic drivers are up to date. 

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hey @jartwobs,

    Apart from the questions/request from DarthFDG, I would also like to ask you if you're using any kind of in-game overlay by any chance? Think of Nvidia, Logitech, Discord, Overwolf etc.

    Do you see the circle in the lower right filling in over and over?

    How long have you waited for it to load before closing?

    I suggest you attach a DXDIAG report.

    @jartwobs, alright, have you tried to disable the overlay to see if that fixes the issue for you?
