character stuck looking at ground Battlefront 2

The game used to work fine, but I reinstalled it recently and had the brilliant idea of plugging in an archaic ibm mouse from the dark ages, the game went bonkers when I tried to use it, so I unplugged the mouse and delete its driver but my character is still stuck looking at the ground and can only move when I turn the dpi up to 16000 on my razer basilisk wireless gaming mouse, and even then its still stuttery and I have to flail the mouse frantically for any effect to ocur.

please help
