The team is aware and are still working on this issue.
A fix was included with a previous release, but was not fully successful.
Please see the fixes section of Content Update: 10/27/2021.

Trello shows the iOS issue was fixed but there is no bug report for Android. Maybe there needs to be, as most all of us still reporting this ongoing issue are using android and not iOS
This is still happening to me in February, is this still being investigated?
It's even weirder for me, it alternates randomly. Sometimes my regular audio keeps playing, and I get NO audio from SWGOH. Other times, I get audio for both. And sometimes, SWGOH shuts down the other audio and only plays itself. Still happening here at the end of Feb.
This original bug report was for Android. Hopefully this gets resolved, but seeing how EA/CG operate, my guess is it will be 6 months to a year before a simple bug gets ironed out.
