Stuck on loading screen after Character Select

When I launch SWTOR and select a character from the Character Selection screen, the loading screen comes up for that character as usual, but then nothing happens. The loading bar fills to about 90% but then it stays there, the music never fades away, the loading wheel keeps spinning and I'm unable to access the character.

This happens on every character and began immediately after I updated the game to patch 7.5.1a

Here's what I've tried so far:

• I deleted/reset my client_settings file (screenshotted below) in localappdata/swtor/swtor/settings
• Tried toggling between full-screen and windowed with alt + Enter
• Launched the game in a clean boot environment 
• Made exceptions in my antivirus software for launcher.exe and swtor.exe

I haven't seen any other posts about this specific issue since the patch so I'm assuming it's very localized. Anything else I could do?
