I have Sims Freeplay on my Windows phone and I'm trying to switch, but when I logged in to Facebook, it said I didn't have anything saved.... I thought that windows only saved through the cloud and the XBox Games hub, how do I solve this?

I came here looking for the same thing; I have backed up to the cloud on my Windows Phone but it does not have the option to link it to Facebook, only to the Xbox account. Naturally, when I open the app on Android and look at the Facebook-linked cloud, there is nothing "no save data in the cloud."
I was excited to see the app updated and cloud sync working on WP, but it's kinda useless if I can't actually sync to any other device. There's not even a windows tablet/windows 8 app (and no excuse for that, really).
Is there any [real, working] way to sync my game between Windows Phone and an Android tablet? All I can suggest is this.
Make sure both Windows Phone and Android phone are logged into the SAME account! (Very important!)
On your windows phone, open up your Facebook app and browse to the 'games' section. Check that it appears there.
Close out.
Open up your android Facebook app. Check that The Sims Freeplay appears in your games section.
After that, open up windows phone and 'upload to cloud'. TURN OFF THE WINDOWS PHONE! Even when you close an app, sometimes they stay running in background. Let's turn the phone off completely! I wonder whether The Sims Freeplay can detect a 2nd phone trying to access it. (I don't know!)
Open the Android The Sims Freeplay. Log in and try to download your freeplay data.
Good luck!
