Issue with Diy homes: all mezzed up

This quest has given me nothing but problems so far.

First, I spent about £15 to gain more vip points to level up and get another time token as I was going to run out of time on the quest. I got the token and used it- which didn’t do anything!  The time of the quest didn’t go up at all and i checked and it did take my token. I contacted support in-game and the ai help bot is useless and didn’t do anything. I then spent all of the LP i’d just bought to skip the ‘relax by the pool’ task for 3 sims as there wasn’t enough time to wait and it didn’t complete the task or finish the quest. I went back on the ai chat bot to tell it that I had another issue to report and it completely ignored me and didn’t even reply lol. That was 45 LP that I spent actual money on completely wasted meaning I’ve lost the prize for the quest, lost in-game currency AND lost real money. 

Ps. I’ve never written in this forum before so sorry if i’ve done this wrong etc but apparently I’m meant to put this info:

Really unhappy about this as by the time I wake up the quest will be over.
