I play on a laptop; Acer aspire V (spex AMD A10 elite quad core with 8Gb Ram and >0,6Tb memory and AMD radeon dual graphics-HD 8750M ) Windows 8.1
I use a mousepad and do not play in laptop mode.
After around 150h of play time I have only seen this in CAS and today was the first (and hopefully last) time.
I played the CAS demo and did not have this problem.
The issue occured after around 4h of only CAS gameplay my sim was wearing a krinolin-see through dress from nightcrawler (CC) and i was changing her nail polish (CC) by selecting a new colour before removing the old one, so she wore two at the same time. When I was searching for nail polish nr1 (could not remember its placement) the cursor just stopped working while i was scrolling though the glasses section.
I do not have a DxDiag since I stopped playing a couple of hours before finding this site.
I had another mysterious problem recently; after patching the game without disabling mods and CC (stupid) my sims just disappeared, as if they were at another lot but I could not bring them home and I could see their needs move upp and down as if they were living on as usual. So, i reinstalled the game and deleted de corrupted family and was working on my new family when this problem with the cursor occurred.
