[BY DESIGN] [GTW] Sixam is Empty

Hi guys,

I am writing to ask you some information about Sixam (the alien world).

Yesterday i used the wormhole and i sent a sim to explore the alien world, but when i arrived it was completely empty. (image 1)

There was only an alien who walked and that at some point went into a mountain and disappeared.

When i first tried the GTW Expansion Pack during an EA Preview Event, Sixam was completely different, in fact it was fully decorated and there were many aliens (image 2)

Now i would like to understand if this is a bug or not because i thought a lot and came to my mind a couple of things:

  1. You have to use cheats in order to decorate Sixam (this would mean that Sixam is empty in it's original version)
  2. You have to be lv10 in Scientist career if you want to see the "real Sixam" (so if you are not a lv10 scientist you will always see an empty Sixam)
  3. You must use a Wormhole that was built and manually upgraded and not the wormhole that you can buy by using the cheat: ‘bb.showhiddenobjects‘
  4. An Alien Conspiracy :\

in addition i can say that I have no error messages (no missing game data etc.), crashes or other problem 😕mileyvery-happy:

    Yes, this is definitely working as intended.

    Parties are triggered through Science task

    This was never added as a bug. Adding a By Design to the title.

    I had the problem too, after seeing the trailer's I assumed the Alien bar was a feature of Sixam, But in fact that is not the case. the Alien planet is actually MEANT to be bare like that. The alien bar/Human party is only an event you can visit as a result of the Scientist Career Work objective. Unless you get an objective saying "Go to Alien Party" Or something to that effect, you won't be able to go to the planet and see it as anything but barren. 

    I found this an odd thing as well. 

    But no bug or issue is there. 

    I believe you need Level 8 In the scientist career, and then the objective to party. but that's all really.

    So much conflicting info on this.

    Someone else also said it was only there when you go there as Alien.

    Do we have a guru confirmation either way ?

    I am not sure if it is that way by design.  I do have this in my game.  I do know the stuff spawns with the alien party but Sims are unable to throw the party themselves.  After the party, the world goes barren again.

    The state of Sixam in image 1 is normal. The lot is transformed whenever an alien event is triggered and aliens will spawn if you spend time there to socialize or collect materials. This is not a bug or any kind of malfunction.

    Well that's just lame... I finally made it to the alien planet and was very disappointed. I expected that after all that hard work, there would, at least, be some sort of new civilization to explore. Kind of like when you travel to the "future".  But the only reward being a "possible party" is a let down. ☹️
