And this suggestion is an indicator as to why the Sims 4 is too positive and nothing bad ever can be introduced. Just play with aging off, that way the pets can never die, or another suggestion, go to the vet clinics and buy age-down treats. The animals in the game can only die from old age, so it isn't too traumatic anyway.
