Well it seems that it is testing time. I will see if I can test the promised issue tomorrow. The issue with prior romantic interests will take longer.

Looking good, Crin. I tried it unmodded and with mods. Tested three households 1) promised as teens 2) met as young adults and one adult couple. All work fine. No issues. Proposals and marriage went off without a hitch. Will they last? That remains to be seen 😈

Three separate couples. Also tried to do a newly promised couple. Tried it without mods and with. All good. No issues reported.

Just got finished testing.
The issue with being promised as Teens are fixed.
The issue with more than one Romantic interest is at least partly fixed.
The option to propose will be there and will work no matter how many other romantic interests there may be including promised however it may bug out at the wedding phase the sims resets and after that you have the "can't marry someone in your employ". This does not happen all the time though so I would advice saving before eloping or planning a Wedding.
As something new you can ask multible Sims to be girlfriends, boyfriends and promised.

No you can't marry more than one.
As soon as you propose to one you are unable to propose to others "Sim name is already engaged" comes up if you try.

Just to reiterate, no issues with more then one romantic couple. I did this with one sim who had three boyfriends and vice versa. Tried this modded and vanilla. Didn't see the issue come up once. So far so good. Two days of solid testing.

Did you also test the wedding itself? Either Elope or Plan wedding?
This is where I had a bug.

@jpkarlsen Yes, that is what I said but to be clear yes, all forms of marriages worked with wedding arch, without and eloping.

Which bug, @jpkarlsen? Are you speaking of multiple marriages? I didn't see that, but I plan to do some Simming over the weekend and I'll make a point to look out for that. I was able to marry off all adult sims (I.e. Ya, adult and elder.)

Having multiple boyfriends/girlfriends at once is by design, and has always been that way. I just booted up the September 5, 2014 version of the game and I see the same thing, my Sim has two Sims in their relationships panel, and both of them are Lovebirds and Girlfriend.

I'm all for more than one girlfriend/boyfriend but more than one promised (teens only).

@jpkarlsen how can you have two promised? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose? Though I'm sure that there is a mod that makes it happen.

Yeah I can't reproduce having a teen Promised to two Sims at once. Are you seeing that without mods? Could you share a save file of where you've seen it, if so? Thanks much!

No, not at all @SimGuruNick. Believe me, I wouldn't want two promised teens either, but it wouldn't surprise me if someone came out with a mod for that.

I used the same save game to try different options so I don't think you would be able to see something now since after last test I continued playing this savegame. I will try to replicate it when my two current kids grow up to teens.
Edit:
In case it matters the Sim that I saw the issue with had the Romantic trait.

A savegame is created when you start a new game. Another new game started means another savegame.
So using one savegame means I loaded the same savegame before trying different options. Didn't save after each test.

@jpkarlsen yeah, I know what happens when you do a new save, but WHAT in particular are you trying to test? Are you testing the marriage bug with the arch, without the arch and eloping? Or, are you getting the bug when just testing the dating status?

I tested all that is why I had to reload.
One girlfriend/promised/marriage
Several boyfriends/girlfriends/Promised/not Promised/marriage
Marriage = all kinds.

@jpkarlsen Okay we're on the same page. That's what I thought you meant but I needed you to be clear. Alright, from my end I don't see any issues. Everything is going well. Have you done a progression? For instance, start new romance, promise, age up, marriage? I did a progression and didn't notice anything come up. Also I noticed that during pregnancy women don't age up any longer. I really like that!
