This doesn't make sense, I really don't understand this design choice. It really makes setting up your Sim profile useless, as you choose who you match while playing your Sim, it's then purely cosmetic.
When you play multiple families and for storytelling purposes, that would be better to take into account what was set-up: for exemple hide a trait you don't want to be displayed, and let the other Sim learn it through a date, potentially changing the attraction score.
It really don't make sense that also, as the background is random my Sim appears in Sixam in his profile picture and not his home world. That's really immersion breaking.

Hi @Down-in-Simsland,
Thanks for the feedback, and I agree that I would like them to be visible regardless of which Sim is currently in use.
I'll pass this along to the team. - lucombre11 months agoSeasoned Ace@EA_Cade Thanks for passing it on. Unfortunately this seems like another instance where rotational play was overlooked, and I hope this can get fixed since it can somewhat affect gameplay - for example if your sim wants to hide a trait from potential matches in other households.

Adding onto my previous comment since the more I think about it - isn’t this the entire point of creating your sim’s profile?! Why would you bother to do so if it doesn’t affect anything at all? I’m so confused by this.
To the sims team: please fix this in a future patch! I’m impressed with how many game features have gained more significance with recent updates and packs but this one aspect is really lacking.
